Just picked up the New PartyQ from BBQ Guru and I’m very impressed! The adapter fits perfectly into the BGE and I’ve already used the device for more than 24 hours and haven’t had to replace the batteries once. The only downside I see with this unit is that if the temperature rises above the setting you chose, there isn’t an alarm. I chose this device over the DigiQ DX2 because I already have a Maverick thermometer for the meat probes. In this case, my Maverick includes a grill probe too, so I’ll have double the grill temp monitoring in the BGE.
