Looking for a new cole slaw mix that is different from the traditional creamy or spicy versions? How about one full of bacon and cheese? Did I have you at bacon?
This recipe is easy to make, but if you plan to prepare it the night before the meal, hold back on the bacon until you serve it so that the chips don’t get soggy.
Cole Slaw Mix
1/4 Cup of Mayo w/ Olive Oil (or Just Mayo)
1/4 Sour Cream
1 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 Tablespoon of Milk
3 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
4-5 strips of thick cut uncured bacon, chopped
- Chop the bacon and cook in a pan on the stove until desired texture is achieved.
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and then refrigerate for up to one hour before serving.
